Technical Product Owner
About the role
As a Technical Product Owner, you are responsible for translating the CTO’s roadmap into a well-prioritised and actionable backlog. You’ll be the first point of contact for developers (and partners) during the build phase, and the final gatekeeper before new features go live. While our Domain Experts focus on customers, training and Go-Lives, you’ll handle the technical coordination that makes it all possible.
This is a cross-functional role with real impact, working alongside Customer Success, Development, Operations, and Sales & Marketing.
What you will do
Maintain and refine the product backlog with a focus on technical clarity and feasibility
Translate product direction and customer requests into high-quality user stories
Review and test features yourself, including edge cases and integrations
Define acceptance criteria and ensure features meet them before release
Make daily priority decisions to keep teams unblocked and on track
Coordinate feature Go-Lives and communicate with internal teams and select customers
Act as technical liaison for partner integrations: clarify APIs, test with Postman, document behavior
Ensure customer and partner requirements are reflected in development planning
Collaborate with the CTO on product strategy and technical scalability
Support the development team with fast, clear answers to unblock their work
About you
3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in a software/SaaS environment
Comfortable working with APIs and integration logic — you can read/write API docs and use Postman for initial testing 😀
Highly structured, analytical, and detail-oriented
You enjoy working closely with developers, but also communicating with commercial teams
You take ownership and follow through, from idea to delivery
Experience with Agile, Scrum or similar frameworks
Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus, but not required)
