Commercial Account Manager
About the role
As Commercial Account Manager, you focus on growing and strengthening relationships with our existing hotel customers. You act as their trusted commercial partner — someone who understands their business, challenges them when needed, and helps them make the right tech choices.
You manage accounts across both Smarthotel and Net Affinity (sister company of Smarthotel), giving hotels access to a broader, specialised portfolio while remaining their single, trusted commercial point of contact.
This is not about pushing products. It is about creating impact through relevance, honesty, and long-term partnership.
You will join our Customer Growth team and report to the Director of Customer Growth.
What you will do
Account management & commercial growth
Act as the primary commercial contact for a portfolio of hotel clients from Smarthotel and Net Affinity
Build long-term partnerships focused on measurable results
Conduct evaluation and renewal meetings
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on real hotel needs
Analyse performance and recommend optimisation strategies
Maintain a structured pipeline and account overview in CRM
Deliver tailored software demonstrations aligned with hotel objectives
Guide clients through commercial decisions with clarity and confidence
Ensure a smooth handover to implementation colleagues after closing
Collaboration & representation
Work closely with marketing to strengthen engagement and retention
Collaborate with product, implementation and development teams
Represent Smarthotel and Net Affinity at trade fairs, conferences and industry events

Who you are
You are a relationship-driven commercial professional with a strong affinity for hospitality and tech. You combine structure and ownership with genuine interest in helping hotels perform better.
You:
Have 3–5 years experience in hospitality tech, SaaS, or software sales, with strong knowledge of PMS, Channel Managers, and Booking Engines
Are a trust-based, consultative seller who translates customer needs into clear solutions
Own relationships end-to-end, deliver tailored demos, and manage both short and long sales cycles
Are proactive in managing agenda, building pipeline, and confidently engaging hoteliers by phone
Are a motivated closer, curious to deepen hotel tech knowledge, and a collaborative team player
Work independently, but value collaboration with colleagues
Languages:
English: fluent (mandatory)
Dutch: strong advantage
Nordic or German language: a plus
