As a senior member of our SmartHOTEL Development team, you will ensure our complex systems operate flawlessly, enhancing value for hoteliers globally. What We Expect:

As a senior developer, your role will go beyond writing and deploying code. You will take the lead in designing smart, scalable, and efficient solutions, mentoring colleagues, and driving innovation within our technology landscape. While your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, you will consistently push boundaries in software engineering and foster effective communication within the team and across departments. Familiarity with the hospitality industry is a strong plus!

Our Tech Stack:

We are deeply invested in an Azure-centric ecosystem. Our primary infrastructure includes App Services, Web Apps, Functions, Event Grid, and Service Bus. We leverage Azure DevOps for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, with data hosted in SQL or Cosmos. Our backend applications run on .NET 8, while Vue powers our front-end interfaces.

Since the merger of SmartHOTEL and Hoteliers.com, we are in the process of consolidating our infrastructure and products. This involves integrating a mix of Virtual Machines and a Kubernetes Cluster hosted behind Amazon CloudFront, ensuring compatibility with our existing architecture. You will play a key role in shaping and optimizing this integration.

Requirements:

  • You are located in the Netherlands and able to travel to one of our offices within an hour (Randstad area).

  • You hold a valid work permit for the Netherlands.

  • Proficiency in the Dutch language is preferred.
