About the role

This is a role for someone who genuinely loves hotels, and wants to make a difference in how they succeed. As Account Executive, you'll own a portfolio of hotel clients and serve as their single trusted commercial partner, helping them grow their revenue and guest experience through smart, well-integrated technology.

You'll manage accounts across both Smarthotel and Net Affinity (our sister company), giving your clients access to a powerful, specialised portfolio — while you remain the one person they call when it matters.

This is not a product-pushing role. It's a relationship role, built on honesty, curiosity, and long-term impact. You'll join our Customer Growth team and report to the Director of Customer Growth.

What you will do

Account management & commercial growth

  • Be the go-to commercial partner for a portfolio of hotel clients across Smarthotel and Net Affinity

  • Build and nurture long-term partnerships grounded in trust and measurable results

  • Run evaluation and renewal meetings with confidence and clarity

  • Spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities rooted in real hotel needs, not just targets

  • Analyse performance data and proactively recommend optimisation strategies

  • Keep a clean, structured pipeline and account overview in CRM

  • Deliver compelling, tailored software demos that map to each hotel's goals

  • Guide clients through commercial decisions with transparency and expertise

  • Ensure a smooth, professional handover to implementation colleagues after closing

Collaboration & representation

  • Partner with marketing to boost engagement, retention, and brand awareness

  • Work cross-functionally with product, implementation, and development teams

  • Represent Smarthotel and Net Affinity at trade fairs, industry conferences, and hospitality events across Europe

Who you are

You're a commercially sharp, relationship-first professional who thrives at the intersection of hospitality and technology. You're not just selling software — you're helping hotels perform better, and that distinction matters to you.

You bring:

  • 3–5 years of experience in hospitality tech, SaaS, or software sales, with solid knowledge of PMS, Channel Managers, and Booking Engines

  • A consultative, trust-based selling approach — you listen first, then offer solutions that genuinely fit

  • The ability to own relationships end-to-end: from discovery to demo to close, across both short and long sales cycles

  • A proactive, organised mindset: you manage your agenda and pipeline tightly and confidently engage hoteliers by phone

  • Drive and curiosity — you want to deepen your hotel tech expertise and continuously improve your impact

  • A collaborative spirit: independent by nature, but energised by working with a great team

Languages:

  • English: fluent (required)

  • Dutch: strong advantage

  • German: a plus
